housing 2.0
This project involved redefining housing in the context of South of Market, San Francisco. Housing in San Francisco is often designed without detailed consideration of its potential uses, especially given large numbers of sharing economy workers in and around the city. Through site studies and mappings, I gained an understanding of the building's relationship with the site and surrounding environment, while taking into consideration people's desire to break free from the urban grid.
