Community Library
For this project, I drew upon existing precedents to create habitable spaces. The brief required a library to be designed, located at the intersection of Hayes and Octavia Boulevard, San Francisco. Through processes of iteration, involving hand modelling and hand drafting, I gained practical skills in the processes of designing a building. This project required an understanding of details such as wall thicknesses, floor depths and spans, enclosures, and spatial proportions.
